As part of the company's commitment to safety, Toys"R"Us, Inc. has a long-standing partnership with Safe Kids Worldwide, the world's leading childhood injury prevention organization, to educate parents and caregivers about providing a safe environment for their children. Together, the two organizations collaborate to provide parents with valuable information about preventing injuries in common situations, including when traveling with babies and young children.
Throughout the year, Safe Kids Buckle Up, a program of Safe Kids Worldwide, through their local coalitions and chapters, conducts car seat safety checks and seminars at Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us stores nationwide. These events provide help for parents and caregivers in choosing the right car seat based on their child's height, weight and age. Safe Kids Worldwide certified technicians provide in-vehicle safety checks to demonstrate proper installation of car seats in accordance with applicable traffic safety laws and manufacturer instructions.
