Annual Holiday Partnership with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation
Toys"R"Us, Inc. and the Toys"R"Us Children's Fund began their partnership with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation in 2004. During the holiday season, Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us stores serve as giving headquarters by collecting toy and cash donations in all locations nationwide. National Partnership With Autism Speaks
In 2008, Toys"R"Us and the Toys"R"Us Children's Fund continued their partnership with Autism Speaks by awarding the organization a second $250,000 grant to help fund autism research and advocacy. Autism is a heartbreaking disorder that inhibits a child's ability to communicate and form relationships. Part of a group of disorders known as Autism Spectrum Disorders, autism is more common than pediatric cancer, diabetes and AIDS combined, affecting one in 150 children in the United States. As a company with a long history of advocating for all children, Toys"R"Us is united in its commitment with Autism Speaks to provide a voice for children and families affected by autism. Toys"R"Us is the national sponsor of the Autism Speaks Walk Now for Autism program, a series of fundraising walk events in communities across the country. Additionally, in conjunction with Autism Awareness Month in April, Toys"R"Us conducts a nine-week, in-store fundraising campaign, in all of its locations nationwide. The 2007 program raised more than $1.1 million to benefit Autism Speaks.

The Toys"R"Us Toy Guide for Differently-Abled Kids and National Lekotek Center
For more than a decade, Toys"R"Us has released the Toys"R"Us Toy Guide for Differently-Abled Kids to provide an easy-to-use toy selection guide for parents and friends of children with disabilities. Toys"R"Us offers the complimentary guide, featuring specially selected toys, in all of its U.S. retail locations and online at www.toysrus.com/differentlyabled. Since its inception in 1994, thousands of parents, relatives, friends and professionals have used the guide to find everyday toys that help spark imagination and build critical skills for the special child in their life. The guide was developed by Toys"R"Us in partnership with the National Lekotek Center, an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to making the world accessible to children of all ages and abilities. Lekotek evaluates hundreds of toys every year using focus groups and other criteria to determine the toys that best contribute to the development of children with physical and cognitive disabilities. Over the past decade, the Toys"R"Us Children's Fund is proud to have supported the National Lekotek Center's direct service program for children with disabilities via monetary grants totaling more than $300,000.
Save the Children

When there is a large-scale crisis, Toys"R"Us, Inc. and the Toys"R"Us Children's Fund together partner with Save the Children, a global humanitarian organization that works to improve the lives of children around the world. Following a natural disaster, often the basic necessities of food and shelter for victims are met, but the unique needs of children are not addressed. Save the Children partners with established domestic relief groups to help prot ect children, ensure their safety in shelters and at community recovery sites, and support their emotional recovery. The Toys"R"Us Children's Fund worked with Save the Children to help children impacted by both the 2007 Southern California wildfires and the tornados that struck the Midwest in early 2008. The Toys"R"Us Children's Fund also partnered with Save the Children by making a $1 million donation to support tsunami relief and reconstruction efforts in Southeast Asia.
Children Affected by AIDS Foundation
Children Affected by AIDS Foundation (CAAF) makes a positive difference in the lives of children infected with HIV and affected by AIDS by helping meet their needs and advocating and educating on their behalf. The Toys"R"Us Children's Fund has been an active supporter of CAAF's signature fundraising program, Dream Halloween, since 1994. The Toys"R"Us Children's Fund helped found the inaugural event in Los Angeles and has since extended its support to events in New York and Chicago. Since the partnership began, the Toys"R"Us Children's Fund has awarded CAAF grants totaling more than $1.6 million.
The Toys "R" Us Children's Fund-Starlight Site Playroom Program
The Toys"R"Us Children's Fund began a partnership with the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation in 2002 by providing the non-profit organization with a $7 million, multi-year grant - the largest in the Foundation's history - to build 74 playrooms across the country. These playrooms provide pediatric patients with a reprieve from treatment by creating engaging spaces in hospitals and medical settings where pediatric patients can relax and play. They also represent a growing trend, as hospitals increasingly consider a patient's environment to be an important factor in the healing process.
